VISA INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR GHANA

TOURIST VISA - Please send the following:

1. U.S. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.

2. One completed application form. All questions answered and signed.

3. Two (2) passport size photos, color.

4. Copy of airline tickets or travel agent itinerary.

5.If you are staying in a Hotel a copy of your Signed Hotel Confirmation (by any employee of the Hotel) is required. If you are not staying in a Hotel you must have a Invitation Letter from where you are staying, with the full address in Ghana (a copy of the individual's passport if staying at someone's home). The Invitation Letter must state where you are staying if not at a Hotel.

6. Vaccination certificate for yellow fever.

7. Copy of fully vaccinated Covid-19 Certificate.

BUSINESS VISA - Please send the following:

1. U.S. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.

2. One completed application form. All questions answered and application signed.

3. Two (2) passport size photos, color.

4. Business cover letter from your company stating purpose of travel, dates of travel, name and contact of the company in Ghana and financial guarantee for all your expenses.

5. Letter of invitation from your host/sponsor in Ghana (fax copy acceptable).Also, copy of the Identity Card or Passport of the host who sign the letter.

6.If you are staying in a Hotel a copy of your Signed Hotel Confirmation (by any employee of the Hotel) is required. If you are not staying in a Hotel you must have a Invitation Letter from where you are staying, with the full address in Ghana(on company letter head for organizations). The Invitation Letter must state where you are staying if not at a Hotel.

7. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.

9.Copy of fully vaccinated Covid-19 Certificate.

A. Non-U.S. passports must send a copy of their U.S. visa or green card, front and back.

B. Embassy of Ghana is closed every Friday and is not considered a business day for visa processing.

C. Documents received after 10:30am, processing will begin the next business day.

D. Yellow fever vaccinations are recommended and required if arriving from an infected country.
