ETA Eligibility
The New Zealand Government requires travelers with your nationality to obtain an ETA. An ETA is an Electronic Travel Authorisation, no stamp or label will be placed in your passport.
To be eligible the traveler must:
- Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
- Hold proof of sufficient funds
- Hold proof of onward/return flights
- Hold all documents required for the next destination??
- Passport holders from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Permanent Residents of Australia and 57 other countries must now complete a New Zealand eTA application.
The New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority or NZeTA visa is good for multiple entries to New Zealand for 2 years and allows travelers to stay in the country for stays of up to 90 days on any one entry.
The New Zealand NZeTA visa is issued for the following travel purposes only.
Tourism, Business, Cruise Ship
Please find below list of requirements to apply for an e-visa for travel to New Zealand as of October 1, 2019. US nationals will required for an ETA visa.
1) Application Form - you may print out and complete via pen or you may complete electronically and save.
2) Scanned copy of passport info page.
3) Travel Itinerary.
