Haitian law requires U.S. citizens to have a passport to enter Haiti. U.S. Citizens traveling to and from Haiti must present a valid passport when entering or re-entering the United States. No Visa Required for stay up to 3 months.

VISA INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR HAITI (Non-US)

TOURIST VISA - Please send the following:

1. NON-U.S. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.

2.
One(1) completed application form. All questions answered and applications signed.

3. Three (3) passport size photos, color.

4. A letter presenting the reasons for, and lenght of travel to Haiti, as well as the following required information:

  • Hotel(s) name(s), address(es), and telephone number(s).
  • Name(s), address(es), and telephone number(s) of person(s) being visited. 

5. Photocopy of a valid passport.

6. Photocopy of the travel reservation or airplane ticket(round trip).

7. Letter from employer.

NOTE: Only visitors holding a passport from the following countries are required to obtain a tourist visa before entering Haiti:

  • Colombia
  • Panama
  • Dominican Republic

All other propective visitors should simply present their passport bearing a validity of at least six (6) months to the immigration authorities upon arriving in Haiti.

Tourist visas are valid for three (3) months. Applicants should submit their documents to the Consular section at least one month before the expected departure date.
