As of April 25, 2018, the Tourist Card is included in all air tickets issued outside the Dominican
Republic, however all passengers entering by air to the Dominican Republic,with air tickets purchased
before that date, must present the card. We emphasize that we will continue to receive all Tourist
Cards previously purchased by passengers whose tickets do not have it included.
BUSINESS VISA - Please send the following:
1. U.S. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.
2. One (1) completed application form. All questions answered and signed.
3. One (1) passport size photo, color.
4. Business cover letter from your company stating purpose of travel, dates of travel, name and contact of the company in Dominican Republic and financial guarantee for all your expenses.
5. You must provide a copy of your hotel confirmation, the confirmation must confirm your stay while in the Dominican Republic.
6. Bank Statements: 3 most recent bank statements or proof of sufficient funds to be used during your travels. Applicant's name should appear on statements.
7. Criminal Record Certificate (FBI Clearance) issued by the appropriate authorities of the country in which the person resides at the time of application. This document must be notarized, translated into Spanish and both the original and the translation Apostilled. Alternatively, once the original document is Apostilled it can be sent for translation by the Consular Section. If the applicant has previously resided in the Dominican Republic that document must be issued by the Attorney General's Office.
8. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.
