VISA INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR IRAQ

• Submit your U.S. Passport (must be valid for at least (6) months.
• One (1) Visa Application Form, TYPE ON LINE, fully completed and signed.
• Two(2) Passport Photo required.
• A visa approval notification (authorization number) issued by the appropriate government agency. Your host organization must work directly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to have a visa approval issued and sent directly by the MFA to the Iraq embassy in Washington DC.

  The Embassy of Iraq will only issue a visa when the Embassy receives approval from the Iraq Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad.

• Two (2) Passport Photo required.
• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
  
  Embassy of the Republic of Iraq,
  Visa Section,
  Washington DC
  
  The letter should explain all of the following:
  The nature of business to be performed and duration of stay.
  Company name and address to be visited in Iraq.
  Guarantee financial responsibility for the applicant, including return transportation to the USA.
